QH&M BIRT was engaged to construct a new three-cell Tailings Storage Facility to accommodate increased FIM process plant throughput and support the long-term operation of the asset.

Key Features:

49Ha of clearing and mulching
1.6M m3 of topsoil and subsoil removal
2.8M m3 of engineered embankment construction
Construction of detailed subsoil drainage systems including 100,000m3 of filter and erosion protection material placement and 60km of subsoil drainage infrastructure
Construction of surface drainage
Installation of Company supplied HDPE Piping
