Project Scope

QH&M BIRT was engaged for the construction of a new in-pit ramp, haul roads, access roads and supporting earthworks, including mine waste removal and the delivery of high-grade ore to stockpiles, to sustain the current mine capacity.

Project details

Key Features:
– 280 Ha of Clearing and Grubbing
– 500k m3 of topsoil and subsoil removal
– 3.7M m3 of multi zoned engineered embankment construction
– 300,000m3 of pavement construction
– Over 2km drainage including RCBCs, CSP culverts and scour protection
– 250,000m2 of 2-coat spray seal and;
– 800,000bcm of drill and blast including grade control.
