Project Scope

QH&M BIRT was engaged to deliver two concurrent haul road projects, constructing a 12.5-kilometre haul road to the Eastern Leases and a 3.8-kilometre haul road to J Quarry, enabling the safe and efficient extraction and transport of ore.

Key Features:

1.3M m3 of engineered fill
Over 200,000m3 of Pavements
Construction of various drainage features including CSP culverts, sediment basins, batter chutes, table drains and rock features
Construction of river crossing including Sheet piling, CFA piling and steel arch structure
Excavation and backfill of large scale RCBC structures including public road under and overpasses
Revegetation including topsoiling, seeding and hydro mulching
